 anything with a quad core, tons of ram and hardware virtualization built in? I want to start running Windows 7 but need to run the XP in virtual mode and the computers I am using now do not have that feature  next year....

Sound like a 27" iMac. i5 or i7 CPU and comes with Boocamp so you can make partition and boot into Win 7, Mac OS and XP. You just pick when you start up. You have native OS's running. You can do virtualization, but it's much slower

yea, a Mac like that would cost me more then my house is worth.
will do it with a pc I build for a few hundred, not thousand
