Ok getting back to the business of riding :pimp: Ride #2.

Group ride to the River Ranch by the Kissimmee River. We will all meet at the Sunoco on US27 and Sheridan at 0830. We will depart at 0845, bring your Sun Pass we'll head on 75 to the TP all the way to the second gas station near Moroso where will will meet up with KF. We'll stop at the River Ranch for lunch, the food is real good. We'll take the scenic ride back most likely via the TP.

It's a great ride and Jerry is a great host and guide, last time we did this ride we had a blast. So who's in?

I guess SOME haven't looked at the link to River Ranch I posted several times, it's ON the Kissimmee River, NOT IN KISSIMMEE. Several miles west of Yehaw Junction on 60. If someone needs more info about the ride just ask me or Mr. Snowman!. I like Fast when it's "safe" to do so but I take it easy through towns and neighborhoods.

I just checked and it's about 80 miles from Universal Studios.

for the folks in the ghetto it's 210 miles one way

For the folks in Broward (departing from the meet spot) 160 miles one way

For the O Town crew it's 88 miles from Down Town I-4 one way


I'm thinking that we will have two meet spots / points (those of you in the Ghetto can meet at my crib) for this rides for the folks south of the lake.

We can all meet at 0830 at the meeting spot on US27 we'll roll out at 0845 exactly. we will take 75 to the TP all the way to the Shell Gas stion by Moroso.

The folks north or west of the lake can meet up with KF at the Shell mentioned above.

When we arrive we will fuel up and head out right away.

KF will lead the ride and it's leaders choice how we get there.

Most likely once we are done eating we will head back (south folks) via the TP.

Don't worry Cupcake, it's gonna be a nice scenic tour through the middle of Old Florida, I don't race through towns or neighborhoods nor will I drag any part of me or my Blackbird against the pavement during this ride. It will be a "Robust Pace" on the wide open safe roads from time to time but I expect everyone to return home in the same condition as they left.

Last time we did this with Jerry it was a blast The views were great the roads fun. Jerry knows all the cool roads in them neck of the woods. so make sure you come on out because if you liked the Sanibel ride you will love this one.

BTW the food is pretty good there and the view from the resturant is very nice.

Jerry can you make reservations (if they take them) and give them a heads up that 30 to 40 bikers are coming with a huge tape worms. :pimp:


Also if you central Fla folks are coming down Daddy smutts and his Motard boys are riding to us, so come on out. Just post up or PM DS for the O-Town meeting spots.

I googled it and the distance from Miramar to River Ranch Resort is about 180 Miles using regular highway routs. So, maybe 200/250 miles each way?

The ride back is 169 miles taking the back road back to US27
