Go ahead and completely change the coolant if possible.

Not if you live in colder climates (outside of FL). Engine Ice works for me.

Green standard Ethylene Glycol is being phased out. The newer "yellow" antifreeze is compatible with green, blue, and other Yellow anitfreeze solutions. Look at and READ the label to find out more

I wouldn't "mix" coolants. Some of them can get gooey and clog water passages when they aren't compatable.
I just switched to Engine Ice thursday. Had to flush the system real good first. It seems to have helped cool things down. My cbr 1100 xx was getting pretty hot sittng at idle. Fan would come on, but the temp just kept rising. I would get nervous and shut it down when it hit 230 degrees.
Now, the fan kicks on at 215, and it cools back down, fan kicks off...rinse and repeat.
DH is right on with water+"water wetter"...but there is no anti freeze in water wetter. So, if your bike is ever going to reach freezing temps. you may want to have some anti-freeze in there. (Very small and expense radiator and engines to have to replace).

Ethylene Glycol is poisinous...Now everything is going to Polyethylene Glycol. Those two aren't compatable. They make a mess, which you can't get flush out very easily.
