I've found quite a few upgrades for the PW80 including suspension exenders and a few tricks/tips on the exhaust, airbox, Boyesen reeds, bars. Anyone have any hands on experience/feedback?

Might just have to assume ownership of my daughter's bike. :D

Tuned just about anything when I was in Britain.
Can even do the porting on Briggs and scrappem side valves.
Boysens work more for mid range, I prefer to modify stock reed block as it works better at high rpm

ahhh, see that's good info. I'll ask you more relevant questions when I get into it.

I'm fixing to trick out a TTR125 for a friend. I think the PW has a lot of the same or similar suspension. Our plan is to leave the slug motor stock until it is near death and go with suspension mods. He just got all YZ85 suspension and wheels for it. I'll keep you posted and maybe post up some pics.

Great question that I don't have a solid answer to right now. I think it's a 2001 but not positive.

Let me know when you know for sure. I'm told it does make a difference.
